Weekend Update!

Boo for afternoon posts, but work was busy this morning!

We had a busy weekend so being at work today is a little relaxing!

My Friday started with Dane calling me on my way home from work telling me Landon went into the basement and ended up finding ALL of his Christmas presents. 

I WAS BAWLING. 

Ugh. I still could cry just thinking about it.

How do you explain to your 3 year old that EVERYTHING on his Christmas list, was in the basement? They aren't for you? well why the hell are they in my house would have probably been his response.

I was at a loss for words. I called my mom, sister and friend to get their opinion.

 I told him Santa brought him a new present and hid it in the house every time he was good. 

Now that he found them he lost all the presents (I hid them somewhere else) and now he has to be good to earn the presents back and Santa would bring them and put them under the tree. 

He asked if I would tell the elf's to make him another combine like what was in the pile of toys. Lol

I really had no idea what to say. I was crying and pulled something out of my ass. 

So this week I am searching for other things I think Landon would like. Because I want him to have presents under the tree that he hasn't seen yet. :( :( :(

Friday night Dane and I took the kids to Joe's Crab Shack where we met up with Kim & her son Kayden.

Landon & Kayden are meant to be BFF's! They play together soooooo good!!!!

They even share their toys. well, most of the time! ;)

We chowed down on some delicious crab legs and Lay danced away with all of the workers.

It is such a fun restaurant!!! 

Loud music + everyone dancing = great place to take your kids!!

After dinner we headed home. Kim stopped and got wine for us to drink and my sister and her family came over. The kids were running wild and painting and the adults were playing catch phrase. Next thing we know, it's 12 and all the kids are still awake!

My kids who are usually ready for bed at 8 were still wired. 

Layla even ended up calling 911 on one of the phones and the police showed up.

It got crazy, let me tell you!

Saturday we headed to Red Bud at had DiCarlo's for lunch. I miss that place so much!

Then headed to get momma a new car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a slight obsession with getting new cars.

This is my 10th car in 9 years.

BUT I promised I would have this one for a LONG time!!!!!! :)

I'm IN LOVE with it!!

Saturday night we headed to the casino for dinner to celebrate Dane's 34th birthday (tomorrow)

He makes me feel young ;)

We were joined by both of my sisters and their men!

Even met up with these guys!!!

All in all, it was a great night!!

I was definitely hurting Sunday morning!!!

But after a few ibuprofen and a shower, I was feeling ok! We headed to my moms house for our annual cookie day!

Landon clearly was STOKED about his gingerbread man! 

 hehe

and momma enjoyed a bloody mary to help the hangover! 

Sunday night we ate more cookies and relaxed.

L&L did a little painting. Seems like we paint nearly every night lately!

I cannot imagine what those families are going through!

Blast from the Past

Today sitting at my desk just thinking. I asked Kim, "what did I do before L&L"

Slept a lot more. Yes, that is one answer.

But really. I absolutely LOVE my life because of those two!

I am HAPPY because of them!! 

Would I be happy if I never had them? 

Probably. 

But my heart would not be filled with so much love and joy!!!!!

So with these thoughts in my mind. I decided to start looking through OLD pictures. I didn't go back too far.. maybe like 2005. I LOVE looking back at life the past few years. 

Let's flashback!

These are my girls!

As many of you know. /\ that's Cassie! 

We did a lot of drinking. A lot of parties, a lot of back roading, a lot of sneaking drinks into the football and basketball games. We always had a great time.. 

Even if I dated a CRAZY douche bag throughout my entire high school career.

and of course that's beer before our High School Graduation!

Then in 2006 I met this fella!

And for some reason I picked up singing karaoke. I never said I was good. Actually, I'm Terrible. 

But get a few beers in me and I sing away....

Yikes!

Then we had the bright idea to do Edward 40 Hands.

What is that you ask? See below.

I still believe Cassie cheated that night. Lol

I turned 21.

And got engaged.

And got pregnant.

 with twins.

Yes, we had sex before marriage. SHAME ON US.

Landon was conceived the evening of my bridal shower.

How do I know this you ask?

Well, because it was the ONE time we were not careful. 

So there I was 4 weeks prego at our wedding!

It was still an amazing day!!

This was pretty much all I got to do at our ALL INCLUSIVE hotel in Cabo.

Dane drank enough for the both of us though.

(remember when it was cool to right on pictures?? no? Maybe that was just me)

After a very complicated pregnancy, doc Snowden, aka best doctor in the world, 

placed this little man in my arms.

hands down, best moment of my entire life.

I look absolutely horrible, but this is probably my favorite picture of all time.

No words can explain this moment. it was just phenomenal!

and wooo! i was huge!!!

Just 1 day old.

We took our first (and only) family vacation.

As you can see in the picture, we went to Cocoa Beach, FL.

 Landon go to see the beach for the first time! He LOVED the sand!!!

And he met Spiderman.

First Christmas

First time playing in the snow! 

No more pictures mom.

He went to his first Cardinals game.

And got his first big boy bed.

Then announced to the world he was going to be a big brother.

And Stella took her first steps 

heheheh had to add this in. SOOO CUTE!!!!!

Landon became President.

Ok. Ok. Not really. 

but he would probably do a better job than what our current president is doing!

  

Then I got huge. Again.

Then the world's best doctor placed this little lady in my arms. 

She came out chubby and a shit ton of hair!!!!!!!

and both of my kids looked Asian  I even had a nurse ask me if the father of Layla was Asian. Baaaaaaaaaaaa. I laughed. 

But Don't you think they look a lot alike?!?!

it was love at first sight. 

And still BFF's 

(most days)

Is it bad that I say life before them didn't even matter?

 Ok. It did "matter". I had fun! It definitely made me who I am today...

But nothing will ever compare to the life with L&L!

Why am I in such a great mood today?

Today I'm loving everything.

Especially loving that Landon is doing a little photo shoot with Stella today!!!!

I don't follow the times very well.

I started on the 3rd.

Day 1.

Day 2. I did 3 sets.

Day 3. + 5 girl pushups (lol) Kim made me do these!

Basically I'm just going to try and go longer than I did the day before.With NO rest day.

My abs (yes, they are hidden but I have them) are sore today!!!!

It's clearly doing something.

Today I got these beauty's in the mail.
A co-worker told Kim & I that we look like a zoo up here because of all of our animal print.

He's clearly jealous.

And a customer of ours bought this for me.

Yes, that's a leopard coach purse. and it's ALL MINE!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhh I love it! and my new bubble necklace and my bootssssssss!!!!!

(I think I have a online shopping problem.. well, a shopping problem period)

I need to quit the shopping and start saving for THIS: 

THAT'S RIGHT! 

In 139 days, my ass will be in the sand with a cold drink in BOTH hands!

Well it's back to work for me for a hour or so, then it's off to see Landon & Stella's little photo shoot! 

I'm so excited!!!!! :)

Tomorrow is 2 weeks until the end of the world....
