Today is my FrIdAyYyYy!

Tomorrow L&L and I are headed to CK to meet Cassie and S&H for breakfast. Then we are off to FINALLY meet the lovely Nikki & Amanda for an epic weekend in Nashville!

 I am ECSTATIC!

This week has been pretty much boring.

Working a lot. Working out at the gym and at home.

As you know from last weekend, we bought just dance. Well there is a "just sweat" option that comes along with the game. Seriously, I love it! Get it!

It's no Julian Michaels, but this doesn't make me cry like Julian does! haha

Highlight of the week:

I waited for over a month for this dress to come back in stock. I was so nervous to get it and it not fit.  

Perfect fit! Thank you Becka for dealing with my craziness trying to get this dress!!!

Weekend Update

Hey Everyone! Linking up with Sami to ramble on about my weekend!

Dane goes back to work this week after being off for OVER 3 WEEKS!!!

My house will somewhat go back to normal now! (probably not....)

But he's on the dreaded night shift, so the kids and I won't be seeing much of him for the next few days which is why we spent nearly every minute this weekend together!

It was nice! :)

Friday night the kids and I packed the car full of presents and whipped vodka

and headed to the Walter's house!

We ordered DiCarlo's that seemed to take 2 hours to get to us, but once we had the food it was well worth the wait! They never disappoint! 

After a few hours of playing and eating we decided to tear into the presents!

But of course not until a little photo shoot!!

they will have beautiful babies someday. I just know it! ;)

and we attempted to get a picture of all 5 kids.

do you have any idea how hard that is? 

Poor Faye making a run for it, and poor Layla being held down by Landon. Lol

Oh, and Landon managed to get his 1st black eye.

He ran smack into sis!  poor kid! Told you sis was hard headed!!!!

Saturday we headed to the red letter store (Rural King) for Landon to spend the money he got from the Odom's for Christmas.

then we headed to Tequila's for lunch then off to best buy.

We played with the headphones for probably 20 minutes. Lay was dancing and Landon was singing and talking WAY TOO LOUD. It was hilarious!

When headed home for horsey rides!

(I confess I was riding too, but got off to take the picture. Dane is a trooper!)

And I cooked for like the 3rd time this week. Seriously people, that's a record!

AND it was edible. 

Naaaah, it was DELISH!!!!

Then we broke out our BB purchases.

I'm pretty sure the game was bought for Landon, but Dane couldn't resist. 

Landon did get a turn, and he's pretty damn good!

 OMG. I swear I haven't laughed this hard is a LONG TIME!!!

It's official, MY HUSBAND HAS MOVES.

 Sunday I woke up to find that

 to come to work.

Today we confess!

I confess I am beyond excited for my play date tonight with my bffs & our kids!

I confess I have got in trouble (OK, not in trouble...but 'talked to') 3 times in the past 2 weeks because of other peoples mistakes. UGH!!!!!!!!!! And the people screwing up just go about their day like they are doing everything right.

I confess I have washed my new in the past 2 weeks and 6 days, than I did my last 2 cars in the 2 years I had them.

I confess I made a wal-mart list last night and by time I got the kids to bed, I was just exhausted.
And I woke up this morning with everything on my list in my fridge and on the counter. Dane went after I went to bed. Brownie Points!

fresh start to a new year

Life Lately..

My MawMaw (mom's mom) turned 90 last week!!!!

She is an amazing person! SO FUNNY! I definitely get my smartassness from her!!
She even hit on Dane on our way to dinner.

She didn't remember him at first and when he opened the door for her as we were helping her in the car, she said "oh my, who is that" then when he walked away to go to our car, she said "well where is he going, he can come with us" 

bahahahaha. Yep. my 90 year old grandma hit on my husband.

Priceless!!

My Grandmother (dad's mom) was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 brain and lung cancer.

Such a hard thing to type.

She is at the hospital as we speak getting the tumor (1) in her lung removed, and goes back tomorrow for the tumors (8) on her brain.
Radiation starts Wednesday. 

Please keep her in your prayers!!!!

happy last day of 2012!

I am more than ready to start 2013! This year was by far one of the hardest. I have had some highs, and I have definitely hit my lowest of lows. As well as so many of my loved ones.
I am ready for a fresh start!!!

I definitely think it has made me a stronger person. I have learned a hell of a lot...and once again, who my true friends are. Who is going to stick by your side through thick and thin. I am so thankful for them!!!!

Cassie. Seriously, Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU!

I have met (well, not yet met) a girl who is one of the strongest, sweetest, most caring person I've ever met!

I knew when we met online and started talking that we would be BFF'S! Even miles away!!! 11 days!!! I can't wait!!

Kim- Thank you for picking my ass up and showing me a good time anytime I need you. You helped me more than you will ever know!!! 

L&L- I am happy because of you. You are by far the BEST thing that has EVER happened to me, and I am here today and able to pick myself up and move on from this year because of you! I thank god for you!!!!!

Definitely want to put this year in the past. But I will never forget what it has taught me!

Crazy Elf Mom

Apparently that's my new nickname to a few people.

Personally your opinion means nothing to me when I see my little mans eyes light up, or he would wake up and the first thing he would do is run looking for her, and Layla start talking Chinese pointing at her when she would find her.

THEY are the reason behind it. THEY are the reason why Christmas is so magical!!

Sorry I'm not sorry that some of you are scrooges!

I'm doing this posts so some of you non scrooges have ideas for your elf next year, and so I remember some of them too! :)

I bought the Elf on the Shelf not knowing how Landon would react to it.

His first words were "mom, this is just a toy, she isn't real"

So I told him to think about Buzz & Woody. How they come to life when Andy wasn't looking.. from that moment on, he was beyond excited!

How did Rosie get her name?

He was all about the book. the first night we read the book to him probably 15 times.
