Weekend Wrap Up!

Hey Errbody! 

A little late doing my update. I'll explain why in a few minutes.

Lets wrap up the weekend!

L&L had a snow day with Daddy on Friday. 

Landon was put to work

and Ms. Layla just watched, and refused to wear her hat.

As you know, Landon had his first sleep over on Friday.

If he had his way, we would have went to Monkey Joes then to Hooters.

Mother of the Year right here people.

We did go to Monkey Joes

Although both boys were a little hesitant about going up the slides and wanted to play in the baby area the first half hour, they quickly decided to give it a try and LOVED IT.

Saturday night Dane and I headed to the hockey game.

Great seats and All Inclusive. Boom! We had a great night!

and the man who never posts pictures on facebook, posts this of me.

And I was nice and didn't post this one of him.

We ran into these guys at the game!

Of course, had to do our bff pose. except I totally threw things off because I changed my part. Eek. Sorry!

And my night ended like this.

whoops. It's a pretty funny story! :)

Sunday was a rough day.

We got call that my grandma who is fighting stage 4 lung cancer has taken a turn for the worst.

All the family headed to the hospital.

It was so hard seeing her in the condition she was in. I could hardly recognize her. She was not the same person I had just seen not too long ago.

A doctor (who I cant stand looking at now)

had pulled my dad out to the hallway and told him he didn't see her making it much longer. 6-12 hours tops.

Our entire family was a mess!

But we all knew with her condition she was in, it wouldn't be much longer. That was so hard to accept, and it was even harder watching my dad. 

Monday morning comes and she is still fighting. 

Her vitals were back up closer to normal, she looked better, she was talking better. I wanted to find that doctor and just scream at him.

If you aren't 10000000% sure, how can you say that to someone. UGH!

She is a feisty little woman (obviously where I get it from) and will continue fighting until her very last breath!

Please add her into your prayers tonight. She needs as many as she can get. Cancer is a very ugly diseases  It can completely tear your world apart in as little as 2 months!!!!!!

Confession Friday!

Sorry guys, I've been a HORRIBLE blogger this week and last week!

Promise I will try harder!

Speaking of horrible. I hate snow. and I hate snow that has ice on top of it! I couldn't even drive my car today. It wouldn't have made it out of the drive way. So I'm stuck driving Dane's truck. OK, I admit, I enjoy driving his truck. And hey! Saves my gas! ;)

Lets confess!

I confess Landon is having his first sleep over tonight. Well, his cousins have spent the night before when he was younger.. but this is the first time he has asked for a specific person to come over and spend the night!

I confess I am probably more excited than he is!!!!! I LOVE SLEEPOVERS!!!!!!

I confess I have not purchased one thing online this week.

and its KILLING me, because I want this soooooo bad!!! 

I wear a medium, and that's sold out. 

But I'm pretty sure I would make the large fit if anyone wanted to buy it for me. :D

I confess I have 61 days until Cancun. And I'm going to some how lose 20 pounds.
I am going to attempt clean eating for the entire month of March.
Landon's going to hate this. He asks for McDonald's or Burger King daily!!!!

I can do this.

I confess I am heartbroken that today was Mason & Remy's last morning show!

 I'm not a fan of the new guy. And am sad I will be missing 3/4 of their show now because they are on while I am working. Wah!

I confess I have been having some crazy dreams lately. And I am super skinny in all of them. I guess when they say "in your dreams"...they really mean it.

I confess we are going to attempt Monkey Joe's tonight with 3 kids. Landon HATED it the first time we went. For some reason would not get in the bounce houses. And this is the kid that demanded a bounce house for his birthday, and he was the only kid who didn't get in it. SMH. Wish me luck!

I confess tomorrow night is date night.

Yep, that's 2 date nights in 1 week.

Weekend Wrap up!

Hey guys! 

Happy Monday!

Since my last post I confessed I had the itch to cut my hair.

Well, I did it!

Not as short as I originally wanted, but I cut off about 5 inches. and went darker with a hint of red.

can't see much of the red in this picture, but it's there.

I love it. And now I'm thinking about going shorter... Maybe. We'll see.

I did a little pre-spring cleaning last week. Well, sort of.

Cassie & Kendra came over and went through my clothes. 

I confess I have a shopping problem.

Saturday night I joined Cass on Kacie's 30th birthday party bus that her hubby surprised her with! 

SO SWEET BRENT!!!! 

We hit every redneck bar in Randolph County.

Let me just say, my bff is very reserved. she is the mom every time we go out.

I think that's why were such great friends.
I'm the wild crazy one, and she is the calm one who makes sure things don't get out of control.

Lets just say, Saturday we were COMPLETELY opposite. 

She needed this. She deserved it! We had a BLAST!!!!!

Confession Friday

Although I've had confession Wednesday AND Thursday.. 

I wanted to end the week with Confession Friday!

I confess I'm in denial about getting older. 

Yes, I'm only 25. But I keep telling myself that although my kids are getting older, I'm not.

I confess I have the itch to cut my hair. 

Ahhh. I can't decide!! I've grown my hair out for almost 5 years. I'M BORED WITH IT.

Seems like every girl has told me yes, and every guy has told me no.

yes yes, it's my decision. But I DON'T KNOW!!

I confess this is the week for pigs. Seriously. 

Congratulations. Ha!

I confess tonight I'm taking L&L shopping for Stella's birthday presents and I'm letting Landon pick out 100% of it. This should be interesting!!!!

I confess that getting a simple message from someone this week has absolutely made my day! Thank you for the smiles!

I had one hell of night last night! 

My head is POUNDING!

Way too much fun last night BFF!

Currently I'm

LOVING: Having the weekend off with my babies! Landon is going to Monster Jam with Dane on Saturday                        and he is BEYOND excited!!!!!!! & walking into my bff's house last night and seeing her entire house decorated for Stell's party this weekend!!! She is an amazing mommy!!!! < 3

WISHING: I didn't feel so horrible today. shots on a week night is bad news. terrible decisions were made.

CRAVING: everything in sight. I.Need.Food!!

MISSING: My babies sleeping with me. Yes. I said it. This week I was on the mission to get Landon to sleep upstairs in his bed, and Layla to finally sleep in her crib for the first time. (yes, the first time) First night was rough. they were both in bed with me at 2 and 3am. Since then, they have both slept peacefully all night.

I need to get a pic of Layla sleeping in her crib. Home girl sprawls herself out. She is probably thinking I can finally move!!!! haha

WORRYING: About how much it's going to cost to get my licenses back. Damnit. 

My good luck streak has finally ran out. :(  I deserved it, I'll pay for it. Boo! 

Damn heavy foot and car that drives so smooth!

Hope everyone has a great day! I'm going to pop a couple ibuprofen and shove my face with the greasiest food I can find then feel like complete ass afterwards. Boom!

I'm Baaaaaack!

Hey girl hey! 
We have a lot of catching up to do!

Let's just start with there is NO WAY I could travel for a living. 

I got back to STL on Friday night and I still feel exhausted. I can't seem to get caught up on my sleep!!

I spent all last week in San Antone (you know, because that's what the locals call it..)

I HAD A BLAST!!

A lot of standing around at the conference in shoes that I should not have even packed. But I got a few good leads and I've been busy at work the past few days putting it all together.

Lets rewind a bit.
Day 1

Tuesday morning I was up bright and early to head to the airport. Obviously too early for L&L. They tried to be troopers and hang out before I left, but it was just too much!

We arrived at the airport only to get there and find out plane has been delayed by about 5 hours. Luckily we were able to catch another flight but had to route to Chicago. 

I was a little excited. I've never been to Chicago before. Even though I would mainly only see the airport, MAYBE be able to go somewhere to lunch outside of the airport.

i am not a fan of the snow. i was glad to be leaving this!

We were late to leave, which meant we were late to arrive. 

So you know what happened next.. Bill turns to me and asks if I'm ready to run. I laughed, thinking he was kidding.

wrong. He took off running! Here is am trailing behind him in heels, running as fast as I can through the airport.

We BARELY made it!!!

I was in Chicago for 11 minutes. Wow!

The flight wasn't bad. I had a few cocktails to calm my nerves!

We arrived early evening just in time to see our booth and join in on the happy hour. (perfect!)

Bill (my boss) and I enjoyed a delicious dinner at some fancy Italian restaurant then went to a club for a few drinks and shots.

I introduced my boss to my favorite shot, a Vegas bomb. he approved.

Have I mentioned how awesome my boss is?? I think I have. But in case you forgot, He is AWESOME!!!!

Wednesday. Day 2

Booth Duty. 

Little did we know, we could get padding under our carpet. 

Lesson learned for every convention from here on out.

These are my favorite heels. I wear them ALL THE TIME. By the end of the day- I wanted to burn them.

I ended up opting for these.

Cowboy boot slippers. 

Only in Texas.

I headed out of the convention with a hour to spare. I jumped in a cab and found the closest shoe store. 

Payless 2 miles away. Score!

I bought a pair of wedges and a pair of tall boots. BOGO, have to get two!

And I put on the wedges and decided I would walk back. WRONG DECISION.

I got half way back and my feet were bleeding. Literally.

Why I had the genius idea to walk back in shoes that are not broken in.

I put back on the cowboy boot slippers and walked the rest of the way.

Still got hit on. Boom! ha!

Later that night was our Shell party. We headed to Howl at the Moon. 

(hands down, my favorite bars are piano bars!!!!)

Bought these little sleazy leopard fishnet tights for $.86 at Payless and rocked them. Felt like a hooker all night, and i liked it!

Thursday- Day 3

Booth Duty again

and 30 people asking me if I made it back to my hotel ok. 

My response? Yep, did I see you last night? 

Sorry for partying!

After a long day at the convention and get several great leads I was glad it was over!

I met up with my new friend Angie from Destin FL and we had a GREAT TIME!!!!

Friday- Day 4

Early meeting and traveling most of the day. 

The convention was so much fun! I met a ton of people I talk to on a weekly basis, and met a few people that I can call friends!

But let me tell you. I MISSED MY BABIES.  I couldn't get home quick enough. 

Whew! Glad I don't have to do it very often!

Came home to my favorite home cooked meal (good hubby)

and  I can't tell you how excited I was to come home to this

bahahaha oh Landon! Yes, yes that is a maxim magazine. 

He brought it to me a few weeks ago and said "Mommy, will you read this to me."

Ummmm no buddy, I think this is one daddy has to read to you! lol

lay is a momma's girl. she was up my butt for 3 days straight. i missed you too baby girl!!! xoxoxoxo

Saturday morning we headed to Creative Bent for our mini Valentine's Day session, 

spent the afternoon at Chuck E Cheese

then spent a majority of the evening with one of my favorite couples EVERRRRRRRRR.
Our kiddos played together so good and Landon has asked for his friends to come over every day since!

Sunday I had another work convention then came home and hung out with my bff and her littles!

Exhausting weekend, and work has been crazy ever since!

I will try not to get so behind on blogging! (keyword: try)

Tonight is margaritas with my bff. thats right. NO KIDS.

Friday night was awesome. Just me and L&L!

We did a little shopping at wal-mart then dinner.

Landon insisted on Taco Bell for a quesadilla. 

I however, Cannot eat ANYTHING from there right now. So I ordered off Applebee's weight watchers menu and got food to go.

Let's just say the Jalapeno-Lime Shrimp was AMAZEBALLS.

and only 300 calories. BOOM!

Many drinks later and white castle at midnight. I was so excited to go to bed!
Momma was exhausted!

Sunday was full of playing firefighter and cops, papa john's and Jillian Michael's kicking my ass!!!

Tomorrow I am Texas bound.

I am having bad anxiety already.

Tuesday-Friday without my babies. :((((((
