Day 1. I can do this....

GOOD MORNING!!!
 
Today starts DAY 1 of my 3 day diet challenge.
I found this diet though Pinterest.
It's a STRICT diet, that says if you follow it religiously, you will lose 10 pounds in those 3 days.
10 pounds???
I think it's worth a shot. and I hate about 50% of the foods that in the meal plan, BUT you are not allowed to substitute any of the foods.
I. CAN. DO THIS.
Even losing 5 pounds in the 3 days would be amazing!
(momma has to wear a swimsuit with my
skinny ass bffs on Saturday. beotch.
 
 
DAY 1.
Don't worry. The only before and after pictures I will show you is of the scale.
Don't judge, I've had 2 baybees! ;)

Breakfast: 1/2 grapefruit (yuck), 1 slice of toast, 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, and coffee or tea.
Lunch: 1/2 cup of tuna, (YUCK!!!!), 1 slice of toast, coffee or tea.
Dinner: 2 slices of any type of meat (about 3 ounces), 1 cup green beans, 1/2 banana, 1 small apple, and 1 cup of vanilla ice cream (YUM!!)
 
salt and pepper may be used, but NO OTHER seasonings.
 
The only thing that is getting me through the grapefruit and tuna, is the ice cream at the end of the day. Seriously the smell of tuna makes me gag. This is going to be interesting........
 
Has anyone ever done a ridiclous diet challenge like this?
Anyone want to join me?! I could use the motivation!

Seems like pretty easy diet.... :) Maybe I should try this too. I am DESPERATE. Btw...I wish I weighed 141 ;) Good luck to ya

You're crazy...and I mean that in the nicest way possible!! :) There is no way in hell I would be able to do that though, I like food way too much. Good luck!!

Do you like horseradish sauce? My hubby puts it in his tuna to give it a lil bit of flavor and it's not bad for you.

I did a similar diet. Only it was more than 3 days. Some California diet. I did lose weight. However....it all came right back after I was off the diet. Good luck mama ;)

meagan- i know, but its only 3 days. and the 4th day is on the boat, so ill be drinking and eating those calories back.

cass-come over tonight to get the baybee clothes. no mcdonalds.

ash- i wish i could. salt and pepper are the only 2 seasonings allowed.

sarah- im ok with it coming back, as long as its off for me to wear a swimsuit. lol

I would love to do this with you but I seriously don't think I could get past the grapefruit.... SUPER YUCK!!! Everything else is foods I eat on a regular basis. I LOVE tuna straight out of the can :))

P.S. 141 is good and you are beautiful and healthy. Don't beat yourself up so much.

Hey I started this diet today too!! I've done it before and believe me, you get so hungry that tuna smells like heaven!! Let's go girl!!

While I can't claim to be a health guru, I'm pretty sure losing 10 pounds in three days isn't the most healthy course of action—and once you lose those pounds, how do you plan to keep them off? I can't imagine you want to eat "50% foods you hate" in perpetuity. :P

The key to keeping weight off is to understand why the weight came on in the first place. Often, it's because we're eating to fill some other need, whether it's stress or variety or a need to connect with others. Take a look at the video in my link; while you may not need to lose 230lbs., the principle is still the same: understanding the different needs the video lays out will help you keep the weight off.

Best of luck, and here's to you wearing that swimsuit and feeling great in it whenever you want. :D

Listen missy.... 1) you dont need to lose weight I think you look great. always have! 2) you had 2 kids! and look amazing! 3) grapefruit (with sugar), boiled eggs and tuna (alone or with mayo and eggs)are awesome, youre just insane. 4) I swear I wont bring wings into work tomorrow. 5) Im off friday.... so.... good luck lol

I've seen this diet before and wondered if it worked! And girl you are fabulous how you currently look! I weight just about the same as you...with no babies! :(
