Happy Wednesday!
Not so Happy Landon has tonsillitis. Poor little guy has been sick since late Friday night.
Happy January is half way over. Closer to warmer weather. Haaay!
Not so Happy I will be in Texas from Tuesday-Friday next week.. without my babies!
I want to cry just thinking about it.
Happy someone got what they deserve.
'Light 'em up and watch them burn
Teach them what they need to learn, ha'
Not so Happy the glory of it isn't at all as great as I thought it would be.
I'm going to touch on the subject of revenge for a minute.
How do you react when someone does you wrong?
I don't mean stands you up, or borrows money from you and doesn't repay you.
I'm talking screws up a major part of your life. and they go on with their day like nothing has happened.
THEN they start doing it to someone else, right in front of your face.
Lets be honest ladies.
Do you mind your own, hoping it stops?
Do you speak up?
What do you do?
I took action.
well, it's been a long process. The past 3 months I've debated on if it was worth it.
I've lost sleep, I couldn't concentrate at work, it's effected my relationship with friends, family and my marriage.
And I originally thought to myself, this person DESERVES this. how can they continue what they are doing, and go about their day like they've done NOTHING wrong.
well. The glory of it sucks.
Guilt is a powerful affliction. You can try to turn your back on it, but that's when it sneaks up behind you and eats you alive. Some people struggle to understand their own guilt, unwilling or unable to justify the part they play in it. Others run away from their guilt, shading their conscience until there's no conscience left at all.
I feel guilty. As I probably should.
Just hope I am not alone on this feeling.. Because I shouldn't be.

exactly how I'm feeling 'anonymous'
Is this about what I think it is???
I don't know exactly how I would handle this situation, but you had every right to do what you did.
Keep your head up!
Revenge is toxic sister. I think the only kind worth putting your energy into is to being happy yourself & let karma run it's course. You always have to remember what might feel good in the heat of the moment might actually make all the negative feelings worse in the long run. But whatever the revenge was, it is done & can't be undone. My favorite, favorite quote "when we know better, we do better." Don't beat yourself up. This whole life thing is a learning experience. It's only a mistake if you make it twice ;)
Man must evolve for all human conflict a method which rejects revenge, aggression and retaliation. The foundation of such a method is love ~ Martin Luther King, Jr
The hurt/anger you have been carrying around with you these past couple of months has been a heavy burden. Now you have your revenge on your shoulders as well. You have to come to peace with this, release it, don't let it consume you any longer. One thing I've learned is that the one and only person you have control over is yourself. People can be cruel. That will never change. Be true to yourself, be happy and surround yourself with people who you love and care about.
XOXO
Not sure of the situation but I always stick with sitting back and letting karma runs its course. Sometimes that is better then you ever could have done. Keep your head up.
Aw, girl! I live by this verse : "Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I WILL REPAY,” says the Lord." Romans 12:19
In other words, when I want to haul off and pop someone in the face, I take a deep breath and remember that God can take care of it in ways that even I can't. I'll let him deal with their mess. And then (because it's HARD not to say something) I try reeeally hard to focus on my own life and my own blessings and realize that I am FINE, whereas they obviously have garbage in their life that needs to be sorted out.
I think given the circumstances of what happened to all parties involved, the right decision was made. Those who were left picking up the pieces of a broken heart after being lied to and deceived the person got exactly what they deserved; however I understand and feel the same guilt. Hold your head up and be proud because it's over and you can leave the drama and lies behind. Xoxo
Revenge is a tricky thing. The only person that should feel revenge is deserved is a person that has absolutely no skeletons in their closet and has done nothing in the past to deserve revenge themselves. Unless you are that perfect person it's never the right decision which is why you feel guilty. The guilt comes from knowing how they feel and knowing what they will go through, and knowing that instead of walking away from the problem you jsut doubled it and the consequences that come from it for you and everyone involved. This is where most people go from "mean girls" to adults. When they finally realize that making someone else suffer doesn't make their own pain dissapear, but only worsen and stay around longer. It's not worth it. Karma is not a fan of vengeful people.

Just experienced this. Let me just say...walking away and not doing/saying anything doesn't feel so hot either. I still find myself gritting my teeth throughout the day thinking about the things I wish I would have done/said but I lost my chance, and it just makes me spit nails thinking about it. Heads they win, tails you lose...either way you would feel shitty so put it behind you and move on.
dude's a jerk and got exactly what he deserved.
P.I.G.
love you.
