playing catch up

I haven't blogged in almost a week & you have no idea how lost I have felt.

This week has been so crazy busy and I can't tell you how excited I will be once the weekend is over!!!

Thursday night we had my sister Brandi and her husband Jason's vow renewal!!

And let me just tell you... it was BEAUTIFUL!!!!! She had EVERYTHING and more that we had our reception and she got it for FREE. lucky duck!!! they also had a photobooth.. BIG regret on my part for not having one at our reception!! They are so much fun!!!!! All the kids had a blast dancing!! I don't know where Landon learned his moves from (his mom) but that boy can dance!!!!!! :)

I can't tell you how hard it is to go to a winery and watch everyone else enjoy it. ugh,

I LOVE wine--it was depressing. lol but I sipped my sparking grape juice out of a wine glass and danced away with my little man!

We finally got home and Landon in bed around 11:30 and I still had last minute yard sale things to do... like hang signs that I should have done that afternoon...but I waited and waited and they had to be done. So I headed out around town and let me tell you.... hammering signs into the ground is a lot harder than you think!! My prego butt was hammering as hard as I could, probably only hitting the wooden steak 1 out of every 5 swings. It was ridic. Then to top it off, I got out of the car near the outside of town to put my 3rd (of 8) sign out and A RAT is in the middle of the road and is running right at me. I ran to back to the car, jumped up on top of the hood and screamed. Seriously that little SOB was running right at me. As soon as I jumped onto the car it turned around and started going the other way so I jumped off and got in the car ASAP and took off. The entire way home all I kept thinking was "what if it jumped onto my car and is going to jump on me when I pull up at home. AHHH!!!!! I was freaked the freak out! So my oh so lovely husband gets out of bed for me and goes and finishes hanging the signs around town. PTL for Dane!! :)

Our yard sale Friday & Saturday was a pretty good success even with the crummy COLD weather we got on Saturday!! We still have a lot of things left over but we made over $500 on junk that we just had laying around and in the basement! People can diss yard sales all they want, but the$500 we banked in our pocket says otherwise!! I boxed everything in totes and left stickers on it all--and I'm going to try and talk my bff Cassie into having a garage sale at her house.... :) If you know anyone having a boy, please let me know!! I already know exactly what our earnings are going to be spent on...and let me just tell you--Landon is one lucky little boy :) Can't wait to get it in and post pictures!!!!!

Remember a few weeks ago I told you about the bows I ordered.. well here they are! I finally got them in the mail yesterday! SO EXCITED!! I think I got every color headband and big flower bow possible! And I am even more excited about the price! Are you ready for it..

I got 29 crochet headbands AND 17 flowers for.........................

And people sell these for $8 for 1 headband and 1 flower. Seriously, they make BANK! I'm considering buying stock in them and selling them myself!! hmmm...

Hopefully Layla loves wearing flowers because she has one to match every single outfit she will ever wear!!!!

Ok, hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend..I've spent too much time on the computer and not enough time with my boys tonight!!

And since I missed Confession Friday, I'm considering doing a Confession Monday this week, or just saving them for a really good Confession Friday next week :)
